Climate change and the carbon footprint on the environment are climbing the agenda of businesses throughout the world.
Pressure on organisations to reduce their environmental footprint is steadily increasing. It is recognised that the carbon dioxide emissions generated by business flights can be one of a company’s largest impacts on the climate.
Gray Dawes is committed to playing an active role in enabling our customers to offset carbon dioxide emissions generated by their domestic and international travel.
During the first quarter of 2008, Gray Dawes will be launching a new online management information system, gdmi, that is designed to provide users with a comprehensive range of reports that includes carbon footprint data for various modes of transport, including flights and overland travel by rail or car.
Customers will benefit from seamless access to these reports, with the option of receiving data online and in real time. The system will provide users with greater flexibility in their reporting with the facility to select data in accordance with their chosen parameters. They will also benefit from up-to-the-minute results, as data will be available immediately after a booking has been made.
We are continually investing in new technology for the benefit of our customers and this new management information tool complements our range of online travel management and booking technologies.
