Case Study - Two day conference - Latimer Place
Sometimes a conference can require our team to just arrange the seating and speakers. However, some conferences can require on-site management from start to finish and are a little more demanding……
The first day was given over to managers and team meetings with a break for lunch at the venue and a private dinner in the evening on site.
The conference was arranged for the morning of the next day, while the afternoon was dedicated to team building – but with a style all of its own. 100 people gathered together. Their task – to make chocolate!
Split into ten equal teams, participants were given a history lesson on chocolate making before being set tasks from which points could be earned. These points could be redeemed for chocolate, additional ingredients to flavour or decorate and marketing material. With these they were tasked to make their own chocolate truffle, develop their own marketing campaign and present their own ‘pitch’ on which they were judged and rewarded accordingly.
A gala dinner was arranged for the evening and dodgem cars hired for after dinner entertainment.
